An ultra-technical mountaineering boot, perfect for altitudes of up to 4000 metres, crossing glaciers and climbing on ice, thanks to its full compatibility with automatic crampons, ideal in particularly cold conditions.
Ultralight and thermal, the 4001 GTX has a Gore-Tex® Insulated Comfort Footwear membrane to guarantee the utmost protection against the elements, impermeability and breathability, raising the level of comfort inside the boot.
The rubber strip around the boot is made with Diamond Technology, an exclusive polyurethane material offering unmatched scratch resistance.
Protective gaiters and Easy Zip waterproof closure.
Fibreglass and aluminium mounted insole for the utmost rigidity, especially when using crampons.
Another exclusive technology appears in the midsole, with a Smart PU component, a polyurethane compound that reacts to temperature, hardening the heel area in the presence of rigid temperatures (facilitating use of crampons) and softening when temperatures are milder to provide better cushioning when walking.
Vibram® Teton sole designed specifically for mountaineering and climbing on ice: solid areas at the toe and heel guarantee better hold and greater safety, while the adhesive compound maintains good grip under all conditions and on all surfaces.
